We
all have that person we look up to who embodies our very own craving for our
idealistic selves. That person we consider our idols, our saviours, and our
heroes.
Be
it Barrack Obama or you, we all have our heroes. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if
I shared who mine was, right? Try and guess who it is; is it my mom, dad or brother?
– WRONG. My hero is Mak, my alter ego. He is confident, multi-talented and kind.
He embodies the kind of person I want to be – a person who is well-rounded and
well-known. Mak will one day be the President of our country, and he’ll
probably be the best of his time yet. He is destined for a great many things
and he doesn’t lay around waiting for all of them to happen, instead, he always
goes out and makes sure that his destinies do happen. He believes that everyone
is born with “it.” He says that everyone just doesn’t realize that they do have
the “it” and that they only need to develop their “it.” According to him, the
most important thing that will make him a success is his belief in his self,
not others.
Believe in yourself! Have faith in your
abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you
cannot be successful or happy. Never be bullied into silence. Never allow
yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define
yourself. You're
just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get
down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.
