As I sat in front of the TV and witnessed the SONA of our dearest
president for myself, one thing instantly flashed to my mind; in less than a
day, a ton of crap will have again risen on the faces of the internet about
this year’s achievements and success. We mostly say that it is because we want
to get our voices heard, that we want to help him improve, to inspire him, but
are those truly our reasons? I honest-to-god did not like his entire speech
too, but it doesn’t mean it was all bad; and, more importantly, it doesn’t mean
that it was any less worthy of anything.
Whatever a person does, good or bad, a few always have
something negative to say; be it verbal errors, diction or etc.
In my own view, the president did his best to make our
country flourish. Try to remember that when P-noy got elected, our country was
internationally known as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
Imagine starting raising a country starting from there? In mathematics, you
would not only be starting at zero, but you’ll be starting at negative one.
Noynoy, of course, has made bad
decisions too. Read my first blog for example. It was a letter for him. It was
me wishfully thinking that the president would accidentally click on the URL of
my blog. LOL
All in all, this blog focused more
on you, my reader – your view on the SONA, not the SONA itself. As the title of
my blog states, my posts are only perspective shorts. I focus more on the
unprofessional aspects of things.
